Sometimes you need a fresh perspective on your photographs. Sometimes a specific answer or hands-on practice with a camera. Choose the kind of session that meets your needs today.

01 / IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS
Stories that
matter.
Wedding photography begins with paying attention. We work on composition, light and connecting with people. We discuss selection, processing and how to turn individual images into a story.
Two days of practice, conversation and exercises. We also share our experience of communicating with couples and running a photography business.

02 / ONLINE MENTORING
90 minutes.
Your focus.
We will look at your portfolio, editing, services or a challenge you are facing. We choose one main goal so you leave with clear, practical conclusions.
A review of your work before the call and a summary of recommendations afterwards.

STUDIO & CINEMATIC LIGHTING
Light shapes
the story.
How does light change a face, a mood and the meaning of an image? How do you work with the person in front of your lens? These are questions we explore in portrait workshops and individual sessions.
Interested in studio portraits, continuous light or cinematic lighting? Tell us what you would like to work on. We will find the right format for your session.

Knowledge rooted
in practice.
We are Dorota Kaszuba and Michał Warda. Together, we are WhiteSmoke Studio. Our background in press photography taught us to observe, respond and find stories in real events. That approach still guides us as we photograph weddings, create portraits and produce photography and films for brands.
In our workshops, we share experience from this work. We show how we make decisions: when to press the shutter, how to use the light, which photographs to select and how to build a story. We also talk about client relationships, pricing and the everyday realities of running a business.
We have been teaching since 2010. We have led workshops and talks at Fujikina, ŚwiatłoSiła, EXPOzycja and events organised by Fotoforma and Film Spring Open. We are Fujifilm Poland ambassadors. We also keep learning ourselves. Our experience of photo editing and selection includes workshops with Magnum Photos.
We want you to leave with a clearer sense of what is strong in your photographs, what needs work and where you want to go next. We start with your images, questions and experience.

From our wedding stories
to your photography.
We want to share more of our process, from selecting photographs to colour and a cohesive story. We are developing presets and planning online photo-editing training. We are also considering a return to group workshops in person.
