Intimate Wedding in Paris | Magda & Pablo

Magda and Pablo’s intimate wedding in Paris: four days with their parents, a ceremony at the Polish Embassy and a spontaneous celebration, told in photographs and film.

An intimate wedding in Paris, four days together and a celebration shared with their parents: Magda and Pablo chose a wedding weekend that left room for life to happen. Their story took us from the Polish Embassy to dinner at Lapérouse, from the rooms of Maison Proust to the city after dark. We brought it together in photographs and a short film, preserving both the moments they planned and the ones nobody could have predicted.

Watch their wedding in Paris

The three-minute film follows the atmosphere of the trip: family, quiet moments, the ceremony, portraits and Paris in motion. Its nostalgic colours and texture were inspired by Super 8 and Super 16. It was filmed digitally, with a film-inspired finish. Watch it first, then explore the photographs below to spend a little longer with their story.

A private jet journey, shared from the very beginning

Pablo used to be a pilot. This time, his dream was to take the passenger seat. Flying to Paris by private jet for his own wedding, with Magda and their parents beside him, made that wish come true in a rather unforgettable way. We travelled with them, so the whole wedding party was together from the start. The celebration began before take-off, and the journey became a personal chapter of their wedding story.

Three weeks to a Paris wedding weekend

Magda first contacted us three weeks before the wedding. The plan was wonderfully small: the two of them, their parents and us, spending four days in Paris. There would be a ceremony at the Polish Embassy and time together afterwards. Some details were still open, including where they would celebrate over dinner. That freedom became part of the character of the trip.

Before travelling, we met at La Buvette, a small French bistro in Warsaw. Conversation came easily. Getting to know one another mattered especially with such a small group: we would be sharing far more than the hours of the ceremony. By the time we left for France, the first introductions were already behind us.

Maison Proust and a ceremony with their parents

The rooms and interiors of Maison Proust gave the photographs a distinctive setting. But the people made the weekend. Magda did her own hair and makeup and helped both mothers get ready, adding another shared moment to the preparations. With their parents close by, the day felt personal from the beginning.

Their wedding in Paris took place at the Polish Embassy, where the ceremony was conducted by the consul. We photographed the setting alongside gestures, expressions and the relationships within this small family gathering. There was space for portraits, too, without turning the whole celebration into a timetable of photographs.

Dinner, Paris after dark and an unexpected first dance

Dinner at Lapérouse was another chapter of the celebration. Beautiful interiors can offer a starting point, but the openness of the whole group gave us the freedom to make photographs that felt like them. Everyone, including their parents, joined in with the energy of the evening.

The day continued with a champagne bar and portraits in the city at night. Their driver took them to more places, and the evening eventually led to an unplanned first dance in a club, surrounded by strangers. It was a spontaneous ending to a wedding in Paris that had never depended on a rigid schedule. The final day brought more exploring and lunch at Le Dalí before it was time to leave.

A wedding in Paris in photographs and film

Photographs let you pause with a face, a gesture or a detail. A film brings back movement and the rhythm of being together. For Magda and Pablo, the two became complementary ways to remember the same weekend. These frames from the film continue the story, from the quieter moments to the city around them.

An intimate celebration does not have to mean a smaller story. With four days together, there was time for encounters outside the ceremony, for meals, walks and changes of mood. That is what we wanted their photographs and film to hold: the feeling of sharing the trip with the people closest to them.

Magda and Pablo on our time together

“They took care to build our relationship before the trip, so during our wedding journey we felt as though we were with close friends. They found a common language with the rest of our group within minutes, and we spent a magical time together. When we saw the photographs and film from the trip, we both went completely wild! We could not have dreamed of a better result!”
